Universidad Andrés Bello has inaugurated the Oficina de Economía Circular e Innovación Social (ODEC) within its Facultad de Ciencias de la Vida, aiming to foster collaboration between universities, the public and private sectors, and civil society to promote sustainable economic models.
The launch event, held on March 13, also marked the beginning of the Collaborative Labs (COLL), interdisciplinary spaces where universities, SMEs, NGOs, and local institutions work together to tackle socio-environmental challenges. The first initiative focuses on food waste, a pressing issue on the sustainability agenda.
Through this initiative, Universidad Andrés Bello strengthens its commitment to social innovation and the circular economy, encouraging collaboration and best practices to drive meaningful environmental and social change.
