On December 5, The Universidad Nacional de Quilmes (UNQ) reaffirms its support for the Cooperativa Reciclando Sueños through the Collaborative Local Labs Design (COLLs) initiative. The project focuses on implementing a textile recycling process using waste from the company Arredo in La Matanza, where textile waste dumps are present.
A recent meeting brought together representatives from the municipality, Arredo, the cooperative, and UNQ, applying the quadruple helix model, which fosters collaboration among public, private, academic, and social sectors. The initiative aims to promote a circular economy, environmental sustainability, and social innovation.
UNQ continues to support these efforts, advocating for multi-level governance to develop sustainable waste management solutions. This initiative strengthens local and regional development by enhancing cooperation between different sectors within a circular economy framework.
