On December 15, the National University of Cuyo (UNCUYO) announced the launch of ODEC, an office dedicated to promoting the circular economy and sustainable development in the region. ODEC will operate through collaborative laboratories involving various social actors. The first project launched is a laboratory focused on textile waste management, bringing together municipalities, AVINA, UNCUYO, and local companies. The initiative aims to transform the textile industry through sustainable practices while promoting effective public policies for responsible resource management. With this step, UNCUYO strengthens its commitment to a more circular economy, fostering innovation and collaboration for a sustainable future.
