On January 16, the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (PUC) held an event for The launch of the initiative "Laboratorios Vivos de Aprendizaje" (Living Learning Labs).
Laboratorios Vivos de Aprendizaje are defined as a program that establishes a model for articulation and collaboration between academy, management, and communities to address challenges related to the University's commitment to sustainability and climate action. This is achieved by leveraging its own capacities and resources as spaces for experimentation, application, and learning.
During the event, the concept of Laboratorios Vivos de Aprendizaje was presented, along with strategies for promoting this initiative within UC to enhance interdisciplinarity in research and applied experimentation projects. This is framed within the methodological approach of COLLs (Collaborative Open Local Labs), which are implemented within each partner institution of the project.
In the next phase, a collaborative dialogue and reflection session will be held using the World Café methodology to create a space for the exchange of experiences and knowledge.
